Trendon Limited was based in England in town of Malton, Yorkshire. The company originally produced plastic injection moulded parts for the motor industry, but swiftly moved into toy production with their innovative use of plastic. The company was run by Bryan Fisher and the name ‘Trendon’ was derived from a combination of his two sons’ names. The company took off when Bryan, together with a young graduate Patrick Rylands, produced Playplax which became extremely popular and won Design Centre status.
